We are committed to keeping you safe and healthy in classes; currently (as of March 12th) we are carrying on with business as usual, and continue to monitor the situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) closely.
A lot could (or could not) happen in the next few days or weeks; and there are plenty of opinions, rumours and internet ‘experts’ out there. Our response will be proportional, evidence-based and aligned to the advice provided by Public Health England.
To protect all our students and instructors, and to make sure we all stay happy and healthy, please follow the preventative measures:
On arrival at BV Studios PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS with Soap & Water and use the hand dryer. (before coming down to the studio).
Let’s get into some good habits when we’re sharing equipment.
Consider bringing your own personal CLEAN pole cloth/hand towel to class (we only have so many, and can only wash/dry them so fast).
Clean poles with provided water/disinfectant spray at start and end of class. We are also cleaning poles with alcohol between all sessions.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw it in a bin. Catch it, Bin it, Kill it. Failing that, sneeze into your elbow and avoid coughing on or near others.
We also recommend washing your hands as you leave.
If you have travelled to an affected area, please follow the current .gov advice.
Communicate with us: let us know if you have been away, or suspect you have been in contact with someone with the virus.
Please do not come to the studio if you feel unwell, particularly with any of the following symptoms: A cough, A high temperature, Shortness of breath.
Our 10am cancellation policy still applies.
Please do let us know if you are self-isolating so we can help you out on your prepaid classes if needed.
We know this is all common sense, but we’ve just got to say it to make sure we’re all on the same page. You’re all awesome.
