360 Pole Dancing was thrilled to host masterclasses with Becca Butcher as part of her European Tour on 3rd February 2011.
Becca Butcher entered her first competition after just 10 months on the pole, she placed First in the Tricks Competition and Second in the advanced category! Having never done any form of dance, it has been a bit of a challenge for her to learn grace and elegance. But she finds the challenge exciting, and enjoys mixing power moves with slow combos.
She was selected as one in only 6 women in the United States to compete in the the first Pole Superstar competition in New York City, then shortly after was selected to compete in the first Amateur division for the National championship.
Her video audition for America's Got Talent went viral... and the rest is history!
Pole students and instructors came from across the South West to take one of her masterclasses at 360 Pole Dancing, and 20 ladies went home with new bruises, a new inspiration, and a host of new tricks to practice!
January 2011 Robyn Rooke achieves PDC Level 2 Instructor Status!
Instructor level 2 is achieved by providing a suitable pole dancing CV to the Pole Dance Community. The CV should detail such things as; time spent dancing/teaching, number of students taught, competition success achieved by the instructor and/or her students, copies of press or other media articles relating to the instructor, provable commitment to career development i.e. courses attended. In addition, the application must be supported by references from at least two other PDC Approved Schools. In general, Level 2 instructors should exemplify excellence in teaching quality and have extensive pole fitness industry experience.
Robyn is one of only 4 instructors in the country to achieve this status! 360 Pole Dancing is also an approved pole dance school.

Pole Jam! Celebrating Robyn's 5 year pole anniversary!
360 Pole Dancing invited polers to come and celebrate her 5 year anniversary of starting pole dancing - It was certainly a turning point in her life! Pole instructors and students came from as far away as Trowbridge, Barnstaple and Telford. There were 4 hours of pole tricks until the bruises and pole burn took over! Special thanks go out to the fabulous girls who baked cakes!
Photography of the event by Sean Stanley - who has promised to come back and do some more shots in the future!
May 2010 In 2009 the Equity Pole Dancers' Working Party founded UK Pole Dance Day, an annual, national event to be held on May 1st with pole dance schools and studios around the country coming together to celebrate the joy of pole dance. In 2010, the event promised to be bigger than ever and we invited everyone to join us.
360 Pole Dancing hosted a FREE Pole Dancing Taster Class on Saturday 1st May 2010 - UK Pole Dance Day! The class was aimed at anyone who had never tried Pole Dancing before, or anyone who wanted to see what 360 Pole Dancing is about. We had lots of people attend, and many students went on to sign up for regular pole dancing classes too!
March 2010
360 Pole Dancing held its first Pole Jam to celebrate the new studio; the new poles needed a house warming! (pole warming!?). Everyone loved the huge space available. We had tea and cakes to celebrate, and then got on for a hardcore 5 hour pole jam! There were loads of moves busted out all over the place!
